As Construction.RU was told today by the press office of the regional Ministry of Forestry, the enterprise construction will start in 2017 and will allow to solve the problem of further usage of bark waste and low-grade wood.
A total amount of investment in the project is 100 billion rubles ($1,8 billion). The launch of the production is scheduled for the second quarter of 2020.
The facility will release 600,000 tons of kraft made of conifers and 330,000 tons of dissolving pulp from birch-tree.
Four thousand people will be employed at the enterprise.
