“A body of Director at Novostroy state enterprise, Magomedsani Mandiev, was found by his family on Wednesday night in his own cottage located near Makhachkala, in the area of Black Rock beach. According to preliminary data, he committed suicide,” the agency’s source said.
According to him, the deceased resorted to such a step presumably because of large debts.
Mr. Mandiev was also a defendant in a criminal case over abuse of power. In 2011, he was accused of holding auctions at an inflated price.
