Musk said that he had held a very fruitful and promising conversation with Mayor of Los Angeles Eric Garcetti on the topic of the creation of a high-speed tunnels’ network under the city that would be used for a rapid movement of cars and people.
It is still unknown, how far Musk and Garcetti have advanced in their conversation, but the latter spoke well of The Boring Company during the recent interview with ABC. While Elon Musk himself focuses on the fact that a technology in the case of The Boring Company is the simplest part of the task. The company will have to get a bulk of permissions to create a network of tunnels beneath the surface of a huge metropolis.
