The agreement was reached within the framework of IX international forum 2017 ATOMEXPO.
The parties plan to develop cooperation in equipping nuclear power plants built upon a Korean design with radiation monitoring systems and sensors for measuring ionic flux in the Republic of Korea and other countries.
In particular, the matter concerns the collaboration in projects for construction of the 5th and 6th power units at Shin Kori nuclear power plants. It is expected that No. 5 unit will be put into commercial operation in March 2021, while No. 6 unit is scheduled for March 2022.
