The billionaire wrote on his page in Twitter that Godot drill machine (named after one of the plays of Irish writer Samuel Beckett) has dug the first segment of the tunnel in southern Californian metropolis.
“No longer waiting for Godot. It has begun boring and just completed the first segment of tunnel in LA,” Elon Musk informed.
Despite the fact that construction activities have already started, it is still unknown whether Musk has managed to agree with the city authorities. Earlier this month, the entrepreneur met with Mayor of Los Angeles Eric Garcetti, but details of the talks were not disclosed.
