North-western chord in Moscow to be built by 2018

As Construction.RU was told by the press office of the Moscow Department of construction, the last section of the highway will connect the Nizhniye Mnevniki and Narodnogo opolcheniya streets with Krylatska. The section of the North-western chord including Aminievskoye highway and all artificial objects on the section, has already been put in operation.

The first stage of the reconstruction of Kaluzhskoye highway has been completed. The 20 km long North-western chord will stretch from Skolkovskoye to Yaroslavskoye highways and will unload the central regions of the capital connecting peripheral ones.

Besides, the full completion of the North-eastern chord is planned to be completed in 2019. This does not concern the section between Dmitrovskoye and Yaroslavskoye highways which is planned to be a toll-road. Potential investors are negotiated with presently.
