Russian architect awarded Auguste Perret’s prize

Construction.RU has been told about it by the Union’s press office. The Prize is called after the name of the French architect and constructor who was the first president of the International Architects’ Union.

The prize is awarded every three years for the outstanding contribution to the application of modern technologies in architecture. The awarding ceremony will take place within the framework of the XXV Global Congress of the International Architects’ Union which is to take place in Seul on September 6th.

Nickolai Shumakov was awarded the prize for his projects of the Zhivopisny (Picturesque) Bridge in Moscow, A terminal of Vnukovo airport, and a station of the Moscow metro.
