As a reference, over 90% of Russia's natural gas is produced in the Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous District while Russia’s gas giant, PJSC Gazprom, is a parent company of Gazprombank.
The financial closing of the transaction, the amount of which is not specified, is scheduled for the end of 2018. The total cost of construction and reconstruction of the airport is going to exceed 7.2 billion rubles.
This project is an example of a successful public-private partnership, which provides an increased interest in its implementation on the part of major investors, the bank’s representative said.
