Zaha Hadid Architects to create project for international airport in India

The company has won an international competition announced by GVK which operates the existing Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport. In particular, Zaha Hadid Architects will be in charge of the overall long-term design and construction of the first terminal, control tower, and related ground facilities.

An airport with a capacity of over 60 million passengers per year will be connected to the city via Mumbai harbour by a railway network.
