Apart from that, Spanish authorities are interested in a joint implementation of the Middle East projects with their Russian counterparts.
This statement was made by the Russian Ministry of Transportation following a meeting between Alan Lushnikov, the head of the body, and Julio Gomez Pomar, Secretary of State for Infrastructures, Transport and Housing of the Government of Spain, held at the 2018 Middle East Rail exhibition, RBC news agency reports on Friday.
“The project is very important for Russia because we understand the advantages of a high-speed traffic. We are completing the engineering of a section from Moscow to Kazan while some sections have already been designed,” Mr. Lushnikov said. He added that the project should be “technologically neutral”.
