This statement was made following a visit of the Russian delegation headed by him to Syria.
“Syrians are interested primarily in supplies of pharmaceuticals, fertilizers, and grains, the production of which has fallen here (in Syria) down to 2 million tons per year. With our production volumes of 130 million tons, this offers new export opportunities for Russia. In this regard, chairman of the Syrian Agricultural Chamber, Mohammed Al Keto, offered not only to provide Russian producers with land for seeding but also to open a grain hub in one of the ports of the Crimea”, Mr. Nazarov said.
