High-speed railway from Vladimir to Nizhny Novgorod airport is approved

This statement was made today by the first deputy head of the Russian Railways, Alexander Misharin, who visited on Tuesday the 2018 TransRussia forum.

According to him, the length of this section, which is part of 770-kilometer high-speed railway, will amount to about 220 kilometers. The project provides for the construction of a variety of bridges of different sizes, as well as dozens of overpasses. The construction works are estimated at almost 360 billion rubles.

We should remind you that this high-speed network will pass through the territory of 7 regions of Russia and is intended to connect two major cities of Moscow and Kazan.
