According to Rambler News, the Center for Nuclear Science and Technology will be the first project in the field of nuclear energy, which is jointly implemented by Russia and Zambia.
The facility will be located ten kilometers from the capital of the African Republic. On the premises of the building, it is planned to locate a research reactor facility on the basis of a multipurpose research water-to-water reactor with a capacity of up to 10 MW, as well as a laboratory complex, a mixed-use center of ray treatment and a nuclear medical center based on a cyclotron.
The project will be implemented in phases, over the course of several years.
