Experts unveil what damage Alberto storm will cause to US cities

According to the company Enki Research, a direct damage in the southern states of the USA will amount at least $400 million. The rest $600 million will account for the reduction in a tourist flow expected due to this adverse natural phenomenon.

The main danger is flooding, especially in areas located far from the coast. In addition, there is a high risk of falling trees, which can occur due to strong wind and soil erosion.
The authorities of the states of Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida have declared a state of emergency. As previously reported, Storm Alberto is making its way towards the Gulf of Mexico at a speed of about 64 km/h.
