As head of the city administration Andrey Dunaev noted, the constructed building represents a new format of hypermarkets of the brand, with the area of eight thousand square meters, and this is the first such Leroy Merlin store in Russia. In total, more than 1 billion rubles have been invested in the project.
The construction of the facility was launched in March of last year and over the course of fifteen months, the builders have completed the whole set of works.
As a reference, Leroy Merlin stores sell goods for the construction, decoration, and arrangement of the house and garden. To date, the French company is the largest DIY retailer in Europe.
