Among the countries with the worst roads are the Republic of Congo and Haiti. The rating was compiled according to the Global Competitiveness Index for the period of 2017-2018. Then, Madagascar and Guinea hold the 4th and 5th positions.
Russia is on the 24th position out of 137. Experts assessed Russian roads as having a tendency to improve. Ukraine is ahead of Russia in this anti-rating, taking the 8th place, but there is a tendency for improvement as well.
The best roads were built in the UAE, Switzerland, and Singapore. The United States closes the Top 10 leaders. It is worth noting that no country in the ranking has been able to get a full score in assessing conditions of its infrastructure.
