As Izvestia newspaper reports on Wednesday, the official has expressed an opinion that the German side participates in the project “contrary to its statements of support”, thus abandoning principles of respect for internationally recognized borders in favor of commercial interests.
“This can lead to extremely negative implications in general for the institutions of Western Europe as a civilization that is framed in the form of the EU”, Tuka said.
Earlier, last week, the Ukrainian President made a statement that the Nord Stream 2 project was a “political project” directed against Ukrainian interests.
