As Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko wrote on Medium website, “I will not disclose all the tools that we use to stop the construction of Nord Stream 2. But I want to highlight — this is crucial for us. And I hope that the construction will be stopped”, the head of the state said.
Poroshenko has noted that the Ukrainian side is holding talks with the German government on this issue. The project Nord Stream 2 was described by the Ukrainian President as “an absolutely political project” “without any economic sense”.
