Experts explain why demand for apartments in Moscow grew tenfold

As noted in the study, more than half of Moscow apartments were sold in the Northern, North-Eastern and North-Western administrative districts of the Russian capital city. The peak of demand accrued to North-Western Administrative District, where sales jumped 10-fold — by 967%. In northeastern Moscow, the demand for apartments has doubled in a year.

Analysts believe that apartments no longer cause suspicion among home buyers. At the same time, sales of this type of real estate are growing due to an attractive price for buyers. The authors of the study also express the hope that the status of apartments can be changed and these spaces will be recognized as housing.
