According to the city administration, by the end of the year, the concept of the island's development will be completed.
“The island’s area around the World Cup stadium will be definitely changed. By the end of the year, the development concept will be elaborated and presented,”, a Vice Premier of the regional government Alexander Rolbinov said.
He has specified that during the preparation for the championship, some areas of the island were drained and built up with roads, as well as equipped with the necessary engineering networks. This area of 140 hectares will be put up for an international tender for the concept development.
