Also, Lopez Obrador, who will take office in December this year, mentioned three possible solutions to the issue with this expensive airport: to put the facility on auction for sale to a private investor, move it to another site or continue works according to the existing plan. The adviser also noted that the possibility of holding a referendum on the future of the airport was not discussed at a meeting with the president.
