As it is said on the web-site of the Cabinet of Ministers, Medvedev spoke about it at the meeting with the acting governor of Amur region Alexander Kozlov.
The aerial tram is planned to be constructed across the Amur between Russia and China, and it will add to the development of tourism in the region. The government will also consider the possibility of constructing an automobile and railway bridge.
As Medvedev said, the document on the preparation of the intergovernmental agreement had already been signed.
Amur regional authorities hope to receive the Government resolution on the preparation of the intergovernmental agreement on the construction of a bridge across the Amur before the future Vladivostok economic forum.
The implementation of the project will make it possible to provide the necessary transportation infrastructure for the priority development area “Priamurskoye”. Kozlov remarked, that the first stage of the project implementation includes the construction of an automobile bridge, railway will be added at the second stage.
