As Construction.ru was told by the Avtodor press office, this decision was made at a meeting between the Avtodor Chairman of the Board, Sergei Kelbach, and the President of the China Wall Industry Corporation, Yuin Liming, in Bejing on August 31st.
To remind you, the “Europe – Western China” economic corridor is the longest in the world, with great potential for state and regional interaction, covering an area with a population of more than 3bln people.
If everything goes to plan, cargo delivery terms from China to the EU will be reduced to 10 days. The total length of the corridor on the territory of the RF is 2,300km. The project is included in the Federal Targeted Program of transportation system development.
