As the Chairman of the Moscow State Construction Supervision Committee, Oleg Antosenko, told Construction.ru, fire security and operating culture violations were discovered. In particular, flammable liquids were being stored in violation of the construction’s general layout. Oxygen cylinders were being kept without security caps and there were no fire safety briefings or fire alarm check registration books.
There was a lot of construction waste. The constructors have been given orders with definite terms for dealing with the violations.
The complex under construction, occupying a total area of 100,000 square meters, will include a 22 story hotel, a 12 story apartment-hotel of 100 apartments, a 4 story public building and a 21 story office building.
Two underground levels will house 642 cars. The construction is being carried out at the expense of an investor. The developer is JSC “Park Huamin”. According to the project, the construction is to be completed at the end of 2017.
