The Russian Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities and the Ministry of Land, Transport, Infrastructure and Tourism of Japan have signed a memorandum on cooperation in the field of construction, housing and the urban environment.

As Construction.RU was told today by the press office of the Construction Ministry, the document was signed by the ministers, Mikhail Menn and Keiji Ishii on the part of Russia and Japan respectively.

So, the Japanese will implement a pilot project to improve the urban environment in the Russian city of Voronezh, where a “smart and healthy home” is planned to be built. It is noteworthy that the building, constructed with the use of the most modern technologies, will become a platform for teaching Russian specialists the Japanese methods of construction and technology transfer.

Following Voronezh, the same work will be done in another Russian city, Vladivostok, and then throughout the country”, - Mikhail Menn said.
