Today, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the federal government of the Russian Federation and the heads of the regions to introduce since the 1st of January 2019 a permanent mechanism of residents' resettlement from dilapidated housing.




This statement the President made at the opening of a session of the State Council and the Commission engaged in monitoring of Russia’s achievements in the social and economic development, held in Kremlin. Over the course of the sessions, the fulfilment of President’s decrees of 2012 has been discussed.

Among the main topics of discussion, there is the resettlement of citizens from dilapidated housing, independent assessment of the quality of social services and the provision of public and municipal services through the multipurpose center’s network.

Speaking about the project of multipurpose centers, Vladimir Putin, called it a success, but urged not to rest on oars. In some centers, there are still queues, a full range of services is not available everywhere.
