Audit of My Street program reveals $67m in irregularities

According to the media, this was stated in an answer of the agency’s head, Igor Artemyev, to the inquiry submitted by a member of State Duma (a Russian Parliament) from Communist party, Valery Rashkin, who demanded to establish those responsible for “the destruction of Moscow pavements tiled in 2016.”

The Moscow Department of Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service did not make conclusions about the tiles’ quality, but found irregularities in tender procedures, amounting to over 4,9 billion rubles.

The body checked purchases under the improvement of Tverskaya Street in Moscow on a section from Mokhovaya Street to Pushkin Square, held in accordance with the 2015 tender, as well as purchases related to tile laying within the framework of My Street program in 2017.
