A cathedral from the 17th century will be reconstructed in the center of Moscow

As stated in the tender documents published on the state procurement website, the cathedral is situated in Varvarka Street. It was built from 1679 to 1684 by architects Fedor Grygoriev and Grygory Anisimov. In 1992 it was transferred to the Church and now is a parish church. According to the project documents, the contractor is to reconstruct windows and doors, restore floors, roofs, domes, and facades.
It will also be necessary to carry out sanitary, engineering, and electrical works.
Claims for participation in the tender are being received until December 1st, and the results will be announced on December 3rd.
The work is to be finished before October 31st, 2016. The initial cost of the contract is 348.2m rubles.
