The Organizing Committee of the International Forum of High-Rise and Unique Building 100+ Forum Russia has approved the dates of the event in 2017. At the support of the RF Minstroy, the Sverdlovsk Oblast Government, the Administration of Ekaterinburg City, the forum will be held in IEC Ekaterinburg Expo from the 4th to the 6th of October.

This year, the brand of 100+ Forum Russia will embrace the forum and the 100+ Technologies show as well as a number of events of its educational cluster 100+ Education and business sector 100+ Real Estate.

In the framework of educational cluster, seminars and lectures of leading Russian and foreign experts, master classes of the representatives of the world and domestic architecture, open lectures of teachers and professors of the European Civil Engineering Education And Training International Association will take place. The business sector will collect the biggest real estate dealers and raise the topics of marketing, legal support and other.

“We are creating an absolutely new format of a business event,- believes Vera Belous, the leader of the working group 100+ Forum Russia. — As a rule, exhibitions are held separately. Now, at 100+ Forum Russia, theory and practice will complement each other. At the forum part, one will be able to learn about the new developments and innovations, and at the exhibition pavilion — to see technological achievements and novelties of building industry”.

The mail topics of the forum will be the issues of high-rise and unique construction, building bridges and long span structures, underground space development and urban planning. Special sessions will be devoted to creating transport infrastructure, preservation and integration of architectural monuments in modern megalopolises, the issues of “green” construction and urban environment protection.

The forum will again become an effective communication platform, where constructive decisions on the development of civil engineering are made. Looking back, in 2016, a practical work on the most important document in the field of construction — the Code of Rules “High-Rise Buildings and Complexes. Designing Rules” was carried out together with the RF Minstroy. Many amendments and recommendations of the market players were taken into consideration. This document has already been approved and comes in force in June 2017. Anatoliy Magay, Director for Scientific Work of
the Central R&D and Engineering Institute (TsNIIEP) for Residential and Public Buildings: “We had discussed the Code of Rules several times at 100+ Forum — in 2015 and in 2016 — before the final edition was approved. There were a lot of arguments, many comments and suggestions, which we took into account at the development of the Code of Rules.”

In 2017, the development of four other Codes of Rules in high-rise construction — determining high-rise planning and development norms, operating rules and fire safety requirements — will begin. According to Yuri Glukhovenko, Adviser to the Director of the Federal Center for Norms and Standards (FAU FCC), it is already planned to have the first discussion of the document on fire safety in October of this year, at 100+ Forum Russia in Ekaterinburg.

One of the important results of the forum is also the “road map” on the development of high-rise and unique construction in the Russian regions, which was developed and approved yet in 2014. In 2016, at 100+ Forum Russia, the updated “road map” was approved by the Minstroy of Russia.

Russian and foreign companies already got involved in forming the business program of 100+ Forum Russia: more that half a year before the event, representatives from several Russian regions, as well as from Italy, India, China, Kazakhstan and other countries have confirmed their participation. Information about participants and topics of the forum is being regularly upgraded at the official website.
