Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobianin, the RF Minister of Culture, Vladimir Medinsky, and the Head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill, opened a historic park at the Exhibition of Economic Achievements in Moscow on December 29th.

As the press office of the exhibition center told Construction.ru, this is located in the so-called Montreal Pavilion (№57), built in 1967, which has been fully reconstructed.
The park, with an area of 22,000 m2, started with the exhibitions “The Romanovs” and “The Rurikovichs”, which had formerly been exhibited in Moscow’s Manezh. The present exhibition has been prepared by the Patriarch Council with the support of the Moscow Local Government.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Sergei Sobianin expressed his hope that an exhibition dedicated to the Great Patriotic War will be organized soon. This area will develop as the largest historical humanitarian project both in Moscow and in the world.
