Prospective grounds for the localization of the Hytera company, from China, in Russian technology cities and technical parks are being considered at the Headquarters of the Russian–Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in Moscow.

As Construction.ru was told by the Union press office, the president of RAUIE, Vitaly Monkevich, speaking at a meeting with the company’s representatives, remarked that technology cities and special economic areas in the Central Federal District may be regarded as promising.

Large corporations and government entities connected with the defense industry are ready to work with foreign companies if their production is 50% localized on Russian territory.

“There are manufacturing capacities and qualified engineering personnel in technology parks and special economic areas. Besides this, the regional government is ready to support investors in getting resident status”, Vitaly Monkevich said.

The Chief Development Officer of Hytera Communications, Igor Boev, in turn said that Hytera equipment has not been produced in Russia yet, but the company is interested in it.

The company is the largest provider of professional equipment for cell communications in China. It has 6 offices worldwide as well as three affiliated companies in Great Britain, the USA and Germany and 20 commercial agencies in different regions including Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Asian-Pacific Region and the CIS. The main customer in Russia is the RF Federal Rescue Service.

RAUIE is a public organization implementing governmental programs of cooperation directed at the strengthening of professional engagement and interaction between public and entrepreneurial unions of the RF and Asia.
