On February 18th, the first session of the working group on Russia-Algerian cooperation was held in Moscow under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister for Construction, Housing and Utilities of Russia, Elena Sierra.
As Construction.ru was told by the Ministry’s press office, it was the first session of the Russian section of the working group on the monitoring and implementation of projects for cooperation in town-building and house construction of the Joint Intergovernmental Russian-Algerian Commission on trade, economic and scientific cooperation.
A finished draft of a Memorandum on House Construction and Urbanization was noted at the session. In fact, it has already been agreed on by both parties.
Following the meeting, Elena Sierra gave an assignment to the next session of the working group at the end of March, to prepare presentation materials and a final list of legal and organizational issues needed for detailed elaboration by the Algerian party.
