A criminal negligence case was initiated in Vladivostok following an audit of the Hyatt hotel’s construction site.
As the regional prosecutor, Sergey Besschastny, said today at a press conference, at present the law-enforcement authorities are thoroughly investigating the delayed hotel construction.
“Now the main issue is the auditing of the financial and economic activities of the construction project owner, “Nash Dom — Primorie”, and the efficiency of funding application by the “Primorie — Dalny Vostok” construction company, which was engaged in the hotel’s construction.”
Based on the results of the audit, the activities of authorities and individuals from “Nash Dom — Primorie” will be given the relevant assessment.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated for the offence of negligence. The people involved are being decided upon.
To remind you, the construction of two 5-star Hyatt hotels started in Vladivostok, within the framework of preparation for the APEC-2012 summit. The delivery terms were violated, while the cost of work has been steadily increasing.
