The Ukrainian energy blockade has inflicted damage on Crimea’s economy of 2 bln rounles. This statement was made by the Prosecutor General of the Crimean Republic, Natalia Poklonskaya.

 




According to her data, on January, 20th the damage accounted to 1.12 bln roubles. In connection with the actions taken by the Kiev regime, criminal proceedings have been initiated. The investigation is being led by the Crimean Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia (FSB).

When completed, charges will be brought against the perpetrators. At present, three suspected organizers of the food and energy blockade of the Crimean peninsula, Mustafa Dzhemilev, Refat Chubarov and Lenur Islyamov, are on the international and federal wanted list.

To remind you, a state of emergency was declared on November 22nd. After that, as a result of the demolition of poles, 4 power transmission lines coming from Ukraine fell.

The situation improved with the launching on December 2nd of the first line of a power bridge from the Krasnodar Area. When the second line was put into operation on December 15th, capacity rose to 400 MW. Commissioning of the other two lines of the power bridge is scheduled for May.
