The governor of the Yaroslavl region, Sergey Yastrebov, has met with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss a number of crucial projects in the region.
As the head of the region, Sergey Yastrebov, has told reporters that the discussion concerned the construction of the Karabulinka flyover, an oncological center and an Olympic college named after Ivan Tkachenko.
Vladimir Putin has expressed his support and allotted a number of assignments. Beside this, all fees collected next year on local roads will be allotted only to the construction of roads in the region.
The geographic location of the Yaroslavl region provides it with the advantage of proximity to Moscow and Saint-Petersburg. Moreover, its administrative center, the city of Yaroslavl, is an intersection of a number of major highways, railroads, and waterways.
