30 bln roubles should be allocated for the space industry of Russia to settle its financial troubles.
This is what the head of the Roscosmos State Corporation for Space Activities, Igor Komarov, told reporters in Moscow on the 30th of March. However, he emphasized that the financing must be drawn exclusively from non-budgetary funds. If financing is found, all troubles will be solved.
To remind you, according to the previously approved program aimed at the recovery of the industry’s flagship – the Khrunichev Center – 15 bln roubles are to be spent.
Roscosmos is the governmental body responsible for the Russian space program and general aerospace research. Its headquarters are located in Moscow, and the main Mission Control space center is in the city of Korolev.
