According to the documents published on Monday on the website of public purchases, a launch pad at Vostochny Cosmodrome will be insured for 24.14 bln roubles.
The same source indicates that the first ever launch from that site will be insured for 1.84 bln roubles.
A number of media reports indicate that the cost of the insurance for this launch will amount to 146.7m roubles. Apparently, the cost of the insurance policy for the launch pad will not exceed 2 bln roubles.
If everything goes according to plan, the first launch from Vostochny Cosmodrome will be carried out as early as at the end of this month.
We remind you that the Vostochny Cosmodrome is under construction in the Amur region, in the Russian Far East. It is intended to reduce Russia's dependency on the Baikonur Cosmodrome, located in neighbouring Kazakhstan.
