Within the framework of preparations for the first launch from Vostochny Cosmodrome, the launch site systems intended to ensure fire safety and personnel security have been completed.
Fire alarms, fire extinguishers and smoke extraction systems have been installed at the site, the press office of the Special Construction Agency of Russia told Construction.RU.
In case of emergency a fire alarm will sound, as well as systems of notification, evacuation management and water-based, gaseous and dry chemical fire suppression installations.
A P.A. system operates throughout the entire launch site area of 90 hectares. 10 zones have been established on the territory of the complex, and all kinds of loudspeakers have been installed inside the buildings.
