The Iranian Hamrahiyan company intends to erect a 5-star hotel in the Russian Republic of Dagestan, located in the Northern Caucasus.
The regional authorities have already agreed to allot a 35 hectare land plot for the construction site, the Republic’s press office told Construction.ru.
On the whole, the interests of this Iranian investment company include medical tourism, cattle breeding, and environmentally safe fertilizers for agriculture.
In Dagestan the Hamrahiyan company is going to invest up to $2 bln in project development in the region. The authorities of the Republic, in their turn, have shown readiness in redirecting Iranian products, currently imported to Russia via Astrakhan, to Makhachkala seaport.
