The number and location of the defense facilities and communication lines in the Moscow underground isn't known to the Urban Development Policy Department of Moscow, the head of the body, Sergey Lyevkin, told our special correspondent, Sofia Orlova.
Mr Lyevkin was speaking to reporters regarding the city government act that has come into effect, which warrants the provision of information about underground communication lines and facilities of Moscow to the contractors.
Moreover, Sergey Lyevkin stressed that he wouldn't have disclosed such information, even if he had it. Meanwhile, such problems really exist.
Within the framework of a land plot, a contractor will not simply be able to get information on defense facilities. It will be possible to obtain them marked as “For Official Use Only”.
