On the 20th of April, at 03:00 p.m, a 50 year old driver, while operating a heavy cement-mixer truck, stroke a woman right at the pedestrian crossing.
The accident took place in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. The woman, born in 1962, was unlucky to make a decision to cross the street at a prohibiting traffic light at the moment, when the truck was approaching, report the local media.
The accident, which eventually caused the death of the woman, occurred at the junction of the Turan Prospect and Kerey-Zhanibek Street.
The victim died from injuries on the spot. The lethal wounds have been caused by the heavy truck’s wheels.
At present, the police is conducting an investigation.
