On the 22nd of April, the governor of the Perm region, Viktor Basargin, dismissed the regional Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities, Viktor Fedorovsky.
The official decision on this subject was taken on a basis of a resignation letter submitted by Mr Fedorovsky himself, reports the local media. Leonid Mokrushin, who previously served in the capacity of First Deputy Minister, was appointed as interim head of the regional ministry.
Regarding Viktor Fedorovsky, the Investigative Committee for the Perm region has been conducting an investigation on the charge of illegal participation in entrepreneurial activities.
Mr Fedorovsky headed the Construction, Housing and Utilities Ministry for the Perm region at the beginning of 2015, having replaced Dmitry Borodullin.
