The Ulan-Ude Mayor, Alexander Golovko, has signed an agreement on the intentions of investors from the PRC on the construction of the third bridge in the city across the Selenga River.
Buryatia’s press office told Construction.ru about this. They clarified that the Chinese Bank of Development will finance the construction work. The Hulunbuir International construction corporation, from the Chinese autonomous district of Inner Mongolia, is interested in the implementation of the project.
Earlier, the bridge was planned to be a toll bridge constructed on a PPP basis, but local citizens did not like the idea.
What the Chinese have been promised for the erection of the object is not known yet.
