A bobsleigh/luge track in Krasnaya Poliana near Sochi burnt down last night.
As Life reports, the fire started at an electrical substation located near the track. The fire then spread to the track. The fire brigade turned up as soon as the alarm was given. They localized the fire and then extinguished it, but nevertheless the damage is significant.
The worst aspect of this is that participants in a “Formula-1” international competitions were to use it on the 27th of April.
