Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a bill prohibiting individuals or legal entities to privatize airfields that are owned by the state or municipalities.
This document has been published on the Kremlin website. It specifies the establishment, by the Russian government, of rental contract conditions regarding the airfields that are owned by the federal government, the procedure for determining their rental rates, and the conditions and payment due dates.
In the case of lend lease of an airfield owned by the federal government the assets will not be compulsory evaluated, nor will the real property assets of the airfields of the Moscow Air Transportation Cluster be evaluated under the concessions implementation.
