A modern overground pedestrian crossing will be built in the Russian city of Khabarovsk, at the junction of the Suvorov and Voroshilov Streets.
The project has been approved by the Investment Council of the Mayor Office, the press office of the city administration told Construction.RU.
The section, located at the junction of the Suvorov and Voroshilov Streets, has been selected due to the intensive vehicle traffic.
The new crossing is to be constructed on conditions of the private and public partnership, the investor might put up about 422m roubles.
According to the project, the crossing will be equipped with 24 escalators, 4 lifts, 6 toilets. On the first level sales outlets, barbershops and cafes will be located. On the second floor there will be offices of commercial companies and cash dispensers.
In prospect, such pedestrian crossings might be erected at other complicated junctions as well.
