Only land plots with infrastructure should be allotted in the Russian Far East, said President Vladimir Putin during his meeting with the Far East Development Minister, Alexander Galushko, and vice PM and Presidential Envoy to the Far East, Yuri Trutnev, on Wednesday.
In his turn, Minister Alexander Galushko said that in the near future a number of new strategic mechanisms connected with land plot allotment in the Far East are to be launched.On a free-of-charge basis, the land plots will be granted from the 1st of June this year in 9 pilot municipal entities in the Far Eastern regions.
From the 1st of October, the rule will apply to all dwellers of the Far East in all regions of the Russian Far Eastern Federal District.
As a reminder, for a period of five years, Russians have been granted the right of uncompensated use of their land with the possibility of further registration of property rights. However, the rule forbids the sale of the land to foreign citizens.
