Chinese investors intend to erect a modern Russian-Chinese factory producing rabbit meat in the Voronezh region.
The corresponding agreement was signed on the 3rd of May by the head of the Russian Agriculture Ministry, Alexander Tkachev, and the China’s Minister of Agriculture, Han Changfu, the regional press office told Construction.ru.
The deal envisages the creation of a joint integrated enterprise producing rabbit meat, with a capacity of 5,000 tons annually. The Voronezh region, where the factory is to be located, is a part of the Central Federal District of Russia and is situated in the European area of the country.
The plans to establish a facility producing rabbit meat were first voiced in August 2014.
