The Prosecutor’s Office has initiated a criminal case of fraud at the construction of the Ice Town in the “Vyshka-2” micro-district. This entertainment site will be located in the city of Perm, situated in the eastern part of the European area of Russia.
In November 2015 the contract was concluded, according to which the contractor was obliged to set up a Christmas tree, build ice objects and establish illuminations, the Prosecutor’s press office told Contruction.ru.
However, in reality it was the local dwellers themselves who had to erect the ice-hills. Meanwhile, over 100,000 roubles have been allocated from the budget for this purpose. According to the investigators, the funds have been misappropriated by the contractor.
