The Russian government has issued a decree to put forward the candidature of the Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities, Mikhail Menn, for membership of the Supervisory Council of the “Housing Mortgage Lending Agency”, abbreviated to HMLA JSC.
This is indicated in the official document published on the governmental website on the 5th of May. Besides Mikhail Menn, other candidates have also been nominated on the part of the Russian Federation.
In general, judging by this list, only one replacement in the HMLA’s Supervisory Council is expected – Mikhail Menn will enter the body instead of his deputy, Natalia Antipina.
In the experts’ opinion, the upcoming replacement will help strengthen the credibility of the HMLA’s Supervisory Council.
It should be mentioned that HMLA was founded in 1997 with the purpose of realizing state policy on increasing housing availability for the populace.
